Ken Gibson, our owner and founder, is a third–generation home improvement contractor. Ken’s rock–solid work ethic came down to him from his father, who’s in his sixties, still works seven days a week, and relies on referrals from satisfied customers.

Ken went to school to learn the HVAC trade with the intention of starting his own business. In 2009, Gibson Heating & Cooling started out as just Ken, a truck, and a toolbox. Even though Ken faced many obstacles in that first year, such as a meager budget and a difficult economy, he managed to double his business the same way his father had: through referrals from satisfied customers. Today, we’re still a family–owned and operated company. We’re much larger than in 2009, but we’ve never gotten too big to lose sight of the importance of earning the trust of families by providing honest, thorough work.
